Clipt editors make anywhere from Php 50,000 - Php 110,0000 per month depending on skillset and experience. We’ve found that PH creatives often undervalue their skills and we know exactly what American creators and companies are willing to spend. So we always pay top-of-market for your role.

Clipt editors work as independent contractors of Clipt. This allows for maximum flexibility to help you get hired and paid as fast as possible.

Because you won’t receive health insurance, 13th month bonus, or guaranteed additional PTO, we increase your pay to make sure you’re always at top-of-market salary for your position.

Yes. You’ll work full-time directly on your client’s team. You’re just like a regular team member.

Clients expect that you’ll be 100% dedicated to them – aka no other clients. 

Typically you can work during your preferred hours. Though many clients would like you to have a few hours of overlap to sync-up and handle any quick revisions. 

Just let your client know your preference for working on US or PH time.

We’ll look for the ideal job based on your portfolio and preferences. This might include podcasts, clips, ads, explainers, vlogs, etc. 

Our editors have worked on everything from Will Smith 10-second animations to 1-minute HubSpot ads to 1-hour Hasan Minhaj specials.

First you’ll look through the core jobs we’re hiring for and submit your portfolio. This will help us learn more about your skills and job preferences.

If we think you’ll be a great match for a Clipt client, we may ask you to edit a sample using the client’s footage and inspiration. 

If you’re hired to Clipt, we’ll then collect a W8-BEN (for US taxes) and get you set up on our payroll. You’re ready to go and will receive pay once per month on the first of every month you’re working with your client!

We’ll kick things off by getting you set up in Slack with your client. Clients will then give you raw footage, a creative brief, and inspiration for what they want their finished edits to look like.

You and your client will work on Clipt’s Slack. We love when our editors upload edits directly to Frame for feedback. On Frame, your client can leave comments at specific timestamps to make asynchronous work simple.

No way! We just love the catchy name Clipt. 

This depends on many factors.

Our #1 priority is avoiding burnout. We’ve worked with 100+ editors & clients to figure out a sustainable amount of videos based on the editing required. 

Here are some general guidelines:

• Clip – 4-8 hours to cut, lightly edit, and caption. 
• Long-Form – 2 days to work through footage, cut, and lightly edit. 
• Ad – 4 days for a highly edited 1 minute ad

Once you start working with your client you’ll get a good sense for each other’s workflow and speed. You can work together to dial things in from there.

We encourage all editors to communicate any concerns directly with the client. We also help manage their expectations and give tips for how best to work with creatives

You don’t need to interview with us – just email. When hiring you to Clipt, our Head of People may ask you to get on a quick call to introduce yourself and get to know one another.

You’ll be paid by Clipt once per month on the start of the month you’re working with a client.

Unfortunately we don’t offer health insurance yet, but we increase pay to account for teammates needing to source their own health insurance.
